Sweet Cravings

It can happen to the best of us, no matter how good our intentions; that amazingly strong urge to eat something sweet.  Something chocolately sweet.  So, like any good parent, I decided to delegate.
Geneva was our main baker.  Shem tried helping, but with a diva in the kitchen, there's only so much one is allowed to do.
I have to say, it was worth every egg shell I might chew and swallow.

  2. I am about to eat the brownie in my lunch. Yum.

Geneva seems very good at being in charge. BTW, I love the banner picture of her on the Twister mat. Classic.

  3. Cute kids. We've been trying to eat healthier too. It's an uphill battle.

  4. Thanks, Tiffany. I remember as a kid I wanted everybody to know it was my birthday. I hope she had a most fabulous day. Liza, you guys have always been better at eating healthy. I'm hoping to figure out some decent, healthy recipes that I can enjoy. Dinners are hard for me because I struggle so much eating meat (strong gag reflex). I'll have to do some recipe searching.

  6. Now I have a sweet craving. How to indulge it without over indulging is my dilemma.

  7. Rachel, Todd made Muddy Buddies by himself the other day and they were GOOD! It is fun...to encourage their interest. I'm looking forward to the day when they want to start cooking gourmet dinners. Kids do that, right?
Chastina, frozen fruit. Go with frozen fruit. Okay, I will be honest, it didn't work for me that day, but usually it does.

  9. Ooh, thanks Marseille. I can't wait to try some of their recipes. I'm needing some new ideas. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut and cook the same things over and over again. Then I need something exciting (cookies, brownies). Maybe if I can feel myself with something more substantial, the cravings won't come nearly as often.

  10. Saw your comment on my guest post at Making the World Cuter. Don't worry, I totally remember you! I've had to stop going to those 2nd Saturdays too tempting to buy stuff plus I need to catch up on all those pre-made kits from those layout swaps =D
Hope you and your family are doing well! Those brownies look yummy!
